Poem: Crossroads

I think this is the end of the road for me;
My childish thoughts push me in such a way,
I always end up on the wrong path.
I turn around, I cross the road
So quiet on my tippy toes.
I'm chasing something, no one knows,
Not even I know where to go.

I swear its not a game,
But it always ends the same.
You and me, someones wrong.
I walk away with all the blame.
I think this is the end of the road for me.

I can't find my way, I'm so confused
I hear the bickers and amused.
It's not meant for me, not anymore,
Is that why it's been done all before?
I think this is the end of the road for me.

I walk, I walk, its a dead end.
I reach out to hold a hand.
Nothings there, no one is near.
Into darkness, into fear.

Climbing up and climbing high..
I feel a tickle on my thigh.
I look down at a fly, I think I am going to die.
GO AWAY! GO AWAY! SHOO!
Out of nowhere it says BOO!
I fall, I fall, into darkness,
I think this is the end of the road for me;
A dead end.
